Thanks for checking us out! We are the creators of the Sisterhood Closet Exchange. We are a pair of sisters who live one mile apart from one another in Pasadena, Maryland. Patti is on the left, and thats me, Kim, on the right. The story behind this business actually stems back to our childhood, where we were raised in a single parent household. So, with a single parent income, Patti and I needed to get creative with our fashion choices, and our back to school shopping deals and such. You could often find us shopping the clearance racks at name brand stores, and also at places like TJ Maxx and Marshalls. We would always be so proud of finding great deals on name brand clothing. That trend continues even now into adulthood. We are always looking for the next best way to shop and save. That's when we found places like Uptown Cheapskate (shout-out) and even some fun thrift stores. It was like one stop shopping ... with so many of our favorite brands all in one location, saving us so much time from searching through tons of different stores, while also saving our wallets too! Our brains started twirling for a new business... then we thought about how we also LOVED and still LOVE shopping each other's closets and also our friends' closets. All of these shopping strategies are what has led us to the Sisterhood Closet Exchange! Our vision is to have 225 of our closest friends get the chance to not only make money on items that are just sitting in their closets, but also shop from literally THOUSANDS of incredible items at up to 90% off retail prices.
